Deep Tissue Massage

A deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique focusing on the deeper layers of muscle tissue and fascia, using slow, firm, and sustained strokes to alleviate chronic muscle tension, pain, and stiffness. It is particularly effective for targeting specific areas of discomfort, such as the back, neck, or shoulders, and works by breaking down adhesions (muscle knots) and improving blood flow to enhance mobility.

Relaxation Massage

A relaxation massage is a gentle, full-body treatment using long, flowing strokes, kneading, and rhythmic movements to soothe muscles, calm the nervous system, and reduce stress, aiming for overall well-being rather than targeting specific injuries. It uses light to moderate pressure, often incorporating techniques like Swedish massage, and focuses on improving circulation, boosting mood, aiding sleep, and lowering stress hormones like cortisol, creating a sense of deep calm.
