Reiki Healing

Reiki is a Japanese, non-invasive energy healing technique developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, designed to reduce stress and promote relaxation. A practitioner gently places their hands on or just above a fully clothed recipient to balance "universal life energy" (Ki), aiming to support the body's natural healing processes and improve overall emotional and physical well-being.

Key Aspects of Reiki Healing:

  • Benefits: It is generally used as a complementary therapy to conventional medicine for relaxation, pain management, and improving quality of life.

  • Origin: The word Reiki is derived from Japanese rei (universal) and ki (life energy).

Purpose:

  •  It is used to balance energy fields, reduce stress, manage anxiety, and support emotional healing.

Reiki is not a religion or a diagnostic tool. While it is widely used, there is no scientific evidence that it can treat or cure diseases like cancer, but it is considered safe and helpful for relaxation.
